1. Step out of your comfort zone
If you’re like me, doing the same exercise routine week after week can really put a damper on your motivation level. So this month, why not try something new? For example, do you do work out on the training floor exclusively? Try out a group class! Not only will you get to explore all that your membership has to offer, but it will also get you out of your comfort zone, and you may meet people that motivate you. You could also try out new exercises or a new training technique (adapted to your goal, of course). For inspiration, ask one of our certified trainers for help.
2. Combining practicality with fun!
Join the gym with friends or with your kids. Get moving and exercising while sharing good times with the people you love, despite your hectic schedule. It’s a sure fire way to find the time to spend with loved ones. If you have a dog and love to run, why not take your dog out for a run? You’ll be doing an activity that you love while tackling one of your daily chores (walking the dog). You could also go to work by bike or on rollerblades. Basically, there’s no excuse to stop moving. Simply find your inspiration to combine practicality with fun!
3. Reward yourself!
Exercise shouldn’t be a chore. It’s important to reward yourself for your efforts, which does not necessarily mean breaking your healthy eating habits. For example, when you reach a goal you have set for yourself, why not treat yourself to new sportswear? You’ve worked hard and you deserve to reward yourself for your successes. These simple pleasures will also help keep you motivated and looking forward to your next fitness goal.
Have a nice workout and above all, have fun achieving your goals!
